Shaq and Shareef Show Appreciation

Since AP exams were finally over, I had a lot of free time in my AP Spanish class. As a result, I started working on a digital art concept of Shaq and Shareef O'Neal. At the end of class I posted the work in progress and I got some positive feedback from Shareef himself via Twitter!

A few days later...

I posted the final product on Instagram! Seconds later, Shareef wrote a kind message of approval.

A couple of days after that, I got a DM saying that my "artwork is everywhere!" When I clicked on the post, I was happy to see that @Shaqfu_radio had reposted it. When I checked to see the caption, it said "Liked by shareefoneal, shaq and 992 others." I was so ecstatic to find out that both Shaq and Shareef liked the drawing! I was very happy and content but would later find there was more to come. :)

I got an interesting DM saying "Shaq spelled your name wrong smh." At first, I was pretty confused by the message because I didn't understand the context. So I decided to go to Shaq's Instagram page to hopefully better understand what was being said. To my surprise, I saw my drawing of Shaq and Shareef on his page! I was so surprised and happy at the same time. Although other public figures have recognized my artwork, this was the first time that any public figure had reposted my artwork via Instagram. Shaq initially misspelled my username but later fixed it (VIEW JUNE 1 BLOG POST =) )
