Shaq's Got Your Back!

On my previous blog post, I discussed the great news that Shaquille O'Neal reposted my drawing. However, there were some entertaining turn of events along the way that made the experience even more hilarious and memorable!

Initially, Shaq tagged the user @sophiafyed instead of my handle @sophia_syed. I was grateful for the repost itself so I wasn't quite bothered by the incorrect artist credit.

Out of curiosity, I clicked on the mistyped handle only to find someone had created an account under that username. Their bio read "DM for artwork" and they had zero posts. As I refreshed their account, they gained hundreds of followers because people mistook the account as the one that drew the painting for Shaq. Although I was okay with Shaq accidentally mis-crediting me, it was infuriating to see someone imitate me and take credit for my hard work.

Luckily, I have THE MOST AMAZING family, friends, and supporters who helped shut down the said account.
